Dr. Erica Ou
DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Ou serves as the Medical Director at Dobbins Village Veterinary Hospital, where she leads the veterinary team with a commitment to excellence in canine and feline care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Arizona and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern University in 2019. With a passion for preventive medicine and client education, Dr.Ou values strong partnerships with pet owners to guide them through every stage of their pet’s life. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she strives to provide inclusive and personalized care to all families.
At home, Dr.Ou enjoys the company of her two beloved cats, Hooba and Bimi, and treasures their daily cuddle sessions. In her free time, she loves traveling the world and experiencing different cultures and lifestyles, which inspires her compassionate approach to veterinary leadership and care.
Courtney
Hospital Director
Courtney is originally from Seattle and has always had a strong love for animals. Her passion for helping animals and the people who care for them eventually led her to a career in veterinary medicine, where she enjoys supporting both her team and the families they serve. With a background in animal rescue, Courtney continues to foster and volunteer in her free time and is especially passionate about giving animals the opportunity to find loving homes.
At home, Courtney has a busy household of her own, with four dogs, two cats, and a fish tank. She loves spending time outdoors and especially enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and exploring new places with her dogs. Courtney is excited to continue growing with Dobbins Village Veterinary Hospital and looks forward to helping create a welcoming, compassionate experience for every pet and their family.
Liliana
Client Services
Liliana was born in Ciudad Obregón, Mexico, and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, as the second youngest of five siblings. She’s also the proud “big sister” to six dogs, including Hana, Jasmine, and several puppies from her parents’ litters. Since 2021, Liliana has worked as a CSR in the veterinary field, inspired by her best friend, a Certified Veterinary Technician. She’s passionate about helping pets and looks forward to continuing to grow in her career.
Giovanna
Technician
Giovanna is an Arizona native with a passion for animals since childhood. Growing up, she was surrounded by horses, chickens, dogs, and cats, so it’s no surprise she pursued a career in veterinary medicine. After earning her certification in veterinary assisting last year, Giovanna is now more than halfway through her degree in animal science. When she’s not working, Giovanna loves spending time with her furry and scaly friends. Her pets include Tony the red-eared slider turtle, Mica the three-toed box turtle, her chicken, Kida, her dog, and Sage, her cat. Giovanna prioritizes self-care and enjoys outdoor activities, making time for the things that bring her joy and balance in life. With her degree nearly complete, Giovanna is excited to continue making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners
Sarah
Technician
Sarah is an Arizona native who earned her degree in Veterinary Science with a minor in Mexican-American Studies at the University of Arizona. She’s had a passion for animals at a young age, thanks to her three childhood pets. In her free time, she enjoys going to a wide variety of concerts, reading, and binge watching horror movies. Sarah looks forward to growing her career in veterinary medicine.
