A Village of Care Beyond Compare

Got my girl (canine)in for evaluation of what turned out to be an acute subcutaneous infection. My regular veterinarian did not have office hours today and DVVH worked in and she's on her way to recovery. Saved us an emergency Vet visit.

The staff were very welcoming and handled my puppy with great care .

Happy Saturday! I was sitting on the couch and noticed my fur baby's dew claw was super curvy! I tried to get it myself but he wasn't having it. I was about to make an appointment and saw they were open 🙃. I called just by chance to see if we could come in for a trim and they had me in within less than 30 min! When I got there as always you are greeted with welcoming smiles and pleasant conversation. I walked in they took Prince and we were out of there in les time than it took to get there! I love all the ladies there! I always recommend! ♥️

Just want to shout out a quick review of this amazing place! Our kitty got hurt on her face, and after a couple of days we realized it wasn't getting better. I admit we have never taken our fur baby to the "doctor" since we first adopted her through the humane society, over 12 years ago. I was so nervous and anxious to reach out to DVVH (Dobbins Village Veterinary Hospital) in fear of judgment, but I want to say, from the second the phone was answered, until we left with Mimi last night, this was 100% a positive experience! All my questions were answered about initial pricing, over the phone! We were able to get a same day appointment, and treatment for our girl all in ONE DAY! Upon getting to the clinic, we were greeted with the kindest most welcoming staff! Who even had snacks and drinks to enjoy while we waited to be roomed. Because our girl is not used to going out, I had so much anxiety about taking her in, but the technician was so gentle and kind about getting her vitals! They even found a room big enough for us all to go in (3 humans and Mimi)! Once the doctor came in and checked her out, we were provided a breakdown of exactly what she needed, with no added or hidden costs! We left our girl there for her procedure, and the staff and Dr. even stayed after hours (On a Friday too!!!) To get our girl all fixed up. I can not say enough great things about this place! The pricing, the atmosphere, and just overall care is top notch! If you're needing a place that will treat your fur baby like their own, Dobbins Village Veterinary Hospital is the place to go! *edit: I apologize I was not able to figure out how to make a new review, but did want to mention that we had another absolutely, 100%, wonderful experience here at DVVH. This was with our beloved Artie boy. A old puppers that's been with us for many years. Special shout out to Alisha at front-desk, your kindness and empathy is something that truly made such a hard day, much easier to process. The wonderful, kind, vet who explained every step and detail, and really just allowed a space to say goodbye to our dear boy. The vet techs, thank you as well. Just thank you to everyone again at DVVH. Such a great place to take our fur babies. We appreciate you all. 💜

My dog's hemangiosarcoma was diagnosed here, finally bringing closure and answering the questions my normal vet was unable to do. They also did it at record speed and didn't break my bank doing. Sadly, my Kai will not survive it and these will be her last days with us. But all of my dogs will be coming here moving forward when I transfer their charts over.

Amazing first time experience. We brought our new 8wk old puppy in to start care. The Dr listened to our concerns and assured us our puppy was okay and on the right track. Loved how the vet techs took extra care with our little puppy as she’s a micro mini and very fragile. Excited to have found a great local vet.

They were able to get us in quickly for an appointment. The Dr took her time to examine our sick puppy and explain everything. Grateful that she did not jump into just doing expensive blood work… And came up with a reasonable plan to get our puppy feeling better. I had to return same day because our puppy declined in health and the doctor quickly remedied it with medicine. So grateful they were there… Our puppy is now doing so much better.

This was the first time my pup has been sick in her 12 years, so I was pretty worried. We went to Dobbins Village Veterinary Hospital as a walk-in, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Everyone — from the receptionist to the veterinarian — was kind, attentive, and professional.

I had a few follow-up questions after the visit and needed to stop back in person the next day to confirm medication dosages. They were just as helpful and patient the second time, and made sure I felt confident about my pup’s care.

I’ve usually gone elsewhere for vaccinations and routine visits, but after this experience, Dobbins Village Veterinary Hospital will be our new primary vet. Thank you for the great care and service you provide.
